A kindergartener no more...

Kendall pictured with her excellent teacher, Mrs. Conlon.

Yesterday was Kendall's last day of kindergarten. It's bittersweet for me. I remember when she was a baby I would always wish for the next step: sleep through the night, sit up, eat cereal, wean, walk, potty train, etc. But, this spring I found myself wishing that time would slow down and just stay here for a while. I like this age. But life goes on and I will embrace it.

To be young again...snack time and nap time! That's the life!

Congrats to you and Kendall for making it through the first year!

The did have snack time and time for free play. I think they did have a quiet time after lunch when someone read a story to them--but no naps these days. And at her school, they had computer time, Chinese, Spanish, math, reading. I was blown away. Kindergarten has changed a lot since I was a kid.

Hi Kelly. My hunny bunny is not even three weeks old yet, and already she's getting too big too quickly for me! She's outgrown two outfits in the last two days... I now know exactly how you're feeling! haha!

I know what you mean! The time passes so quickly! I get sad every time I bag up the clothes my little girl has outgrown.

I hope you guys have a great summer!
