Supersize me...

I'm not talking about the movie even though I did see it (talk about beating a dead horse). I still eat at McDonald's every now and then. I've never been one to order huge portions anyway unless you are talking about dessert. Anyway...

Last night I went shopping after walking around down town with my husband and kids at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts. We needed some basic household stuff as well as groceries, so I took advantage of the chance to shop sans kids even if it was 9:30 pm.

So, there I am in Target looking at toilet paper and it occurred to me that there is no normal toilet paper anymore. Forget just buying 4 rolls, but now it is "Mega" and "Ultra" and "Premium". And packs with 12 that equals 500! I know that is an exaggeration. How many rolls does one need at a time? and how big? Those humongous rolls don't fit on the holder anyway!

After Target, I made my way over to Wegman's. It's really nice shopping at 10 pm. So quiet....ahhhhh.

LOL I'm with you...I always just try and buy the normal ply in the 4 pack. Gary will come back from the store with one of those packages of 16 rolls.I always ask him, where in the heck am I supposed to store these??

This is funny. I heard that Europeans and Americans use their paper differently.
Americans: bunch and dab.
Europeans: fold and wipe.
It's true about the Europeans. :) Don't know about Americans.

I've noticed the difference between American and European toilet paper and flushes.

I live alone but currently (and absentmindedly) have about 20 rolls stored in my garage right now!
