A fellow blogger asked me what a raclette maker does. Well, it melts raclette cheese and warms up stuff on the top if you want. The usual fare that accompanies the cheese is made of boiled potatoes, salami, cornichon pickles and pickled onions. You can click here for wikipedia's definition.
