Happy Birthday, Clayton!

My little guy turned 4 today! While the celebration has been low-key today, we will have a party on Sunday when his Mammaw and Pappaw are here. The day started out with candles in his pancakes. We went to lunch with his buddy, Connor and had pizza. After lunch, Connor and his mom came over for cupcakes. The boys played and Ronda and I got to visit a little. Tonight after dinner, we had the remaining cupcakes--this time with candles and a song.

Did I mention that we had cupcakes today?

I can't believe it has been four years since his birth. He was the easiest baby and it's a good thing he wasn't my first, or I would have been duped in thinking that babies are a piece of cake. When he was around 15 months he started having the little tantrums and I was shocked (I've been lucky so far with both kids---not real tantrum throwers). I remember describing to the doctor that he was getting mad if he didn't get his way. Dr. Coggins smiled and replied, "He's normal, you have nothing to compare to (since Kendall only threw ONE tantrum, ever).

I really like him (of course, I love him). He's a lot of fun and likes to make people happy.
