It's Saturday morning, snow is coming down and it's time for a little breakfast. I make enough stuff from "scratch" that I never feel guilty for using a mix. Actually, I doubt I could make pancakes taste any better than Krusteaz. I'm listening to Scott Simon on NPR's Weekend Edition and he just interviewed a band called "The Whigs." I really like their sound or perhaps I am just trying to hang on to my long gone youth.

BTW, my cats drink out of the sink in the bathroom too!
