Hey, Sports Fans!
I had a Joe Paterno sighting yesterday. I was meeting some friends at the park that is right next to his house. I turned down the street and I was behind a BMW sedan. I wondered if it was his, and sure enough, the car continued down the street and turned into the Paterno's driveway. I also recognized his hair from the back. It took all I had not to stop in the middle of the road and watch him get out of his car!!! Ha ha.

Hi Kelly! :o) Just wondering... who's Joe Paterno? Must be a football player? (We don't have football in South Africa. But we do have Rugby. And cricket.) We also don't have softball or baseball as national sports... Time for a trip to USA huh?

Char--Joe Paterno is the head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions. It's college basketball and he is about 80 years old!!! (seriously) He still lives in the same house that he has lived in all these 40+ years that he has been in State College, PA (weird name for a town, I know).
Cheryl--People love Joe Pa (when he is winning). The town was packed with Notre Dame in town.
